Work was productive. Very productive. Still have quite a lot of things left undone which I will continue tomorrow. A client came over today and started throwing the word "unfriendly" the moment she came into the office. Things she found unfriendly includes: Our office building location The signage within the compound The office unit location Our company (because we didn't know she needed direction) The group of interns and I were all laughing at her the whole time Zaim was tending to her while she waiting for her other colleagues to reach, and she were all giggling when the meeting was going on. Zaim asked if I am joining the meeting but I declined. Partly because the most unfriendly person in the room was the client and also because I have so much other work waiting to be done. Anyway, I ended work on time today and went to Lenson's house for dinner. He brought us to Hougang Mall where I bought my supply of snacks for this week. Life without snack...

I woke up angry, still mad about the things that Lenny said the night before. It was one of those times where I got really resentful and it didn't help that the words he used and things he said made me feel like there are things he didn't tell me before even though I had given him many chances to say it. He came over in the morning and spent 1 hour trying to convince me of his sincerity. Apparently, he came over right after I stopped replying this messages. I was so tired I knocked out a short while after putting my phone down. Because I locked my room door, he wasn't able to come in. Lol. I felt bad but I think we might have woke my whole family up if he managed to come into my room and wake me up just to continue talking. The raging flame was extinguished with his patience and my want to make peace. We headed out for lunch at KFC at Tampines Mart before going to Orchard Centrepoint. Point of being there? When Lenny's parents reached his house at about 12am plus this morning (they came back from Jakarta), his mum invited us to join them at the Southen Ridge trail. Which I had to convince Lenny to. Because Lenny off-ed his aircon at about 5am, and his comforter was thick, I didn't really sleep well the whole night. I think I really am conditioned to sleep just with fan with a thin blanket. Thick comforter is only good for overseas with cold air ): . The trek was relaxed. Lenny and I had lots of fun watching anime on the way there, eating lunch and on the way back. He said he enjoyed watching Soul Eater with me :D happy happy! I like to share the things I watch with him so that we have even more things to talk about. None of us brought camera today but the admiring of views and the conversations are memories precious enough. The need to pee is the reason why I didn't sleep beyond 1pm today. Woke up and saw Lenny asking me to get ready to leave house by 1.30pm and we were going to JB. Apparently, by the time he reached my house at about 1.35pm, he had already had our passports with him, and even got lunch for the both of us. Damn efficient I swear. This kind of impromptu dates are part of the reason why our relationship hasn't reach the stale stage (and I hope it never will). We went to Paradigm Mall. Yuge yuge place. Huge area to walk but because we are so used to the compact space Singapore malls have, Paradigm Mall seemed a bit bare. Nevertheless, we had dinner there. A sumptuous one, that costs much lesser than it would have in Singapore. The sashimi was not as good as in Singapore though ): sobsob! Lenny was wishing there was Genki Sushi there LOL. This is all Kimchu's influence. After dinner, we went to Watsons and went to The Face Shop. We ended up signing a membership with Watsons ...

[09:10] Boss and manager are both not in office. Email is exceptionally quiet today it scares me. Cuz I have a feeling they will end up call coming in waves. Faced a ridiculous bitch on Facebook whom I tried to resolve misunderstanding with. Tried being diplomatic but someone was obviously being retarded lol. Pretty face with a snob and fucked up attitude. No wonder her boyfriend left her lol. Yes, talking about you, Ms. Triciaa Yang. Gonna try and blog for the past few days. Lolol.

Work was pretty busy but still manageable. Attending one meeting in the earlier part of the day, then had to handle an impromptu one at the later part of the day because of boss's forgetfulness. Lenny wanted to look for a professional looking bag and hence we went to Orchard area to hunt for one! Had Sushi Express for dinner omg yesss finally. After so long lol. Hope everything goes fine for him (there is a reason why he wants a new bag but I cannot say it lol).

Lenny and I went to have McDonald's breakfast after we woke up. And then we spent 1 hour at the gym. I wanted to take picture of my treadmill accomplishment but I forgot to take out the safety tag. So the counter reset when I moved back ): sobsob. So picture to commemorate my achievement D: ! I ran/walked for 1 hour okay. So proud of myself. It's 2.32pm now. Gonna spend the next few hours writing article.

It was hectic with Illumina, my first stop of the day. Apparently, there was some sort of miscommunication where they thought we were only gonna deliver food, with no business discussion haha whut. So I ended up having to cab after reaching Yishun because I only had 1h 05 mins to cover the 1h 30 mins distance after they finally confirmed that meeting is still on zzz. The meeting that was supposedly held at 12.15pm, was postponed to 12.30pm, to 12.45pm and I was still late lolol. Hopefully they will like the idea and that our food caterer will be of their liking. The next stop after that was with 1-Group. Joanna was friendly. It was unfortunate that Zaim couldn't make it on time. The meeting was scheduled at 2.30pm but he texted me at 2.25pm and asked me to inform 1-Group we'd reach only at 2.45pm lolol. I went off to try and find the building. It's been a day full of ups and downs. Seriously. One of those days where I can really feel what it means when people say going through ups and downs is parts and parcel of life. (It's 21st May 2018, 00:58 when I am writing this. Referring to my tweets as I am blogging. Wouldn't have remembered anything if not for my tweets but I definitely vividly remember feeling the emotional roller coaster ride. Work felt screwed but it ended up being fun. Was feeling annoyed because my phone battery died abruptly. Thank goodness I saw that coming so Lenny and I agreed the old-school way to meet outside Vivo City Sephora at 7pm. The one who're there first shall wait until the other person arrives. I reached first and went in Sephora to walk around. Realized that the store is pretty huge and he might not know where I go so I head towards the entrance and waited there for him. [17:44] Honestly, I don't mind working extra hours. I don't mind putting in extra efforts. As an employee, all I ask is that my welfare gets well taken care of. If I have to stay back for work, sure. Allow me to leave earlier on other days. Or reach office late some other days. If I have to get up extra early to reach an event ground, sure. At least allow me to claim transport because it's extra travelling time and cost especially if it's somewhere far. I am being asked to go down to RWS tomorrow and to reach there at 8.30am. Travelling there already cost more than my usually travelling expenses, not to mention entry into RWS if I am gonna take the monorail in. When I asked if I can claim for transport, boss said no. Reason being it's not ulu. Just go to Harbourfront. I don't think he understands. Legally, I am still not married to Lenny. Culturally, I am. To his family, I am considered one of them even since I went through the tea ceremony at the temple (for Lenny's grandpa). This year is the first year where I addressed another woman as "mother" besides my own biological mum. It is emotional and definitely something I am thankful about. We celebrated at Lenny's house together with his family. His parents, brother, maternal grandparents, paternal grandma, his second aunt, youngest young and Yardley. My mum was working ): . Every year that I grow is yet another year that I have grown to be extra thankful to my mum. Now that I am getting married, my mum has been paying for stuffs too and helping here and there with the gifts exchange and stuff. It reminded me that she was once a young woman who is preparing to start another chapter of her life. The efforts and love of a mum can never be replaced. Nor can it be repaid. The more I visit the facial salon, the more I feel like the people there are very fake. They started out really friendly but they kinda put in less sincerity when they know you ain't gonna buy more stuffs lolol. Was gonna recommend the salon to other friends but decided against it. Although I did see results after 2-3 sessions, their "sincerity" isn't something I would subject my friends to. Lenny came to fetch me from Hougang Mall after the facial. We went to Plaza Singapura and got to finally try the beef cubes from Taiwan. It is delicious ttm! Not as tasty as Taiwan's but still awesome! I wanted to try the cubes with rice next time hehe! After work, Lenny and I went to eat a little bit of sushi before heading off to our favourite arcade. We were playing Cookie Master when this couple came and started playing the machines right next to us. They seem like newbies and were just wasting all their credits away. Seeing that they were clueless about Cookie Master, I showed them a little on how to play and they caught on pretty quickly. The lady then told me it's her and her husband's first time to the arcade. She also said that their total age is 120 years old (they're both in their sixties). The tickets ran out so I went off to help them call for the service attendance. Cow Play Cow Moo is really shorthanded on weekdays for some reason. It took quite a while before the attendant came. Meanwhile, the couple left the Cookie Master machine and went to explore others. Yesterday, I realized how near Lenny and my work place is. So we met up for lunch today at 11.40AM! Hehe. I like being able to meet him like that for lunch. But I still dread the walks under the sun because it gives me a headache. Especially in the morning when I walk from the MRT to the office. T____T . According to Lenny, it's the dry season now which really doesn't make things better. He came to fetch me from work as usual and wanted to bring me to Bras Basah POPULAR but I had to remind him that Bras Basah POPULAR closes at 7PM... So we ended up heading to Decathlon at Bedok to look for a swimming pants for him. Although the price is affordable, the swim wear at Decathlon weren't much to his taste. But he bought 2 tshirts at $3.50 each! To wear to work. So at least the trip there was fruitful. These days, I really miss Lenny when I don't see him. Being able to see him makes me feel happy. For the first time after I started work, Jing asked me to join him and Zaim for meetings with clients. Honoured, I feel :D . Other than that milestone, most of the day was spent sending out emails and following up with more emails lolol. The workflow is still generally complicated but I still probably need more time to think about how to improve it. Hope I can learn the ropes of a lot of things at Konbini soon so that I can help with full force, Jing and Zaim, with providing solutions for other companies LOL.

[13:44] It wasn't just long after having lunch. Zul, ZT and Mike are all napping. It is indeed sleepy after eating but I don't wanna get scolded by Jing LOL. Really looking forward to seeing my mum, Lenny and his mum after work. Hehe! The new laptop is light and it seems pretty nice to use. So far so good~ [Evening] Met up with our mums and had dinner together. Our mums managed to get their evening dresses from Far East at a good price so yay! Went to the Chinese wedding show after dinner to choose some stuffs before Lenny sent my mum and I home. Seems like my mum had a good time with Lenny's mum so I am really happy. Hehe.

As expected, I woke up after 10am. Lenny too. Waking up after 10am is a usual for me (when I have no obligations later on in the day), but a rare for Lenny. He's always waking up about 9am or earlier because of his body clock. We headed out to McDonald's because he wanted the breakfast there but everything we wanted was sold out. Disappointing!! So we went to the hawker nearby and ate carrot cake :) . The weather was hot and humid so we went back his house to Netflix and chill. There was chill because he turned on the aircon. Thank god for this thoughtful baby, else I'd have melted. We watched Psychokinesis. A Korean movie about a man who suddenly gained that special power. Lenny and I concluded that Koreans are better in producing KPop music, and drama. Not so much of movies. We went out to Bras Basah and looked around the stationery corner. The cute him wanted to help me to see if I can add more Pilot Fiesta mechanical pencils into my collection but we ended up buyi...

The day was divided mainly into three sections. First being attending the health talk that James was conducting at Orchid Country Club. I went over to Kimchu's house in the morning and she drove us there. We were really just there to support James cuz he asked. His talk lasted from 11am to 12pm. We stayed around the Country Club to wait for him and catch up for a while before heading off. Second section of the day was Kimchu and I being at Elias Mall. Kimchu's friend JM had a hairdresser friend and he worked at Elias Mall. A discount was promised if she went there to get her hair done. For the first time in her life, Kimchu bleached her hair. And I was there to witness it. It was only the bottom half of her hair though. While we were there, I finished watching Jupiter Ascending. Lenson and Ivan came to fetch me so I didn't get to see the final result. She sent pictures though! Pretty! So the finale of the day would be at Cow Play Cow Moo with Lenny and Ivan....

The first day of May was spent at Lenny's house in the afternoon. We woke up at about 11am plus and ate the lunch his mum bought back for us. We then watched Fullmetal Alchemist movie on Netflix before heading out to meet my mum. Her work ended early today because she made adjustments to her shift. Today was supposed to be the day his mum and my mum met but the aunt of Lenny's mum suddenly passed away so she had to help tend to funeral issues. Lenny and I brought my mum to Suntec where we walked about quite a bit. I really enjoy days out like these when I can just spend time with people I love. It's 12.38am now and work is starting in less than 10 hours' time. Yes, I found a new job, at Konbini and I am quite excited to start work there.
