27th May 2018: Early Morning Trekking, Date at Suntec
When Lenny's parents reached his house at about 12am plus this morning (they came back from Jakarta), his mum invited us to join them at the Southen Ridge trail. Which I had to convince Lenny to.
Because Lenny off-ed his aircon at about 5am, and his comforter was thick, I didn't really sleep well the whole night. I think I really am conditioned to sleep just with fan with a thin blanket. Thick comforter is only good for overseas with cold air ): .
The trek was relaxed. Lenny and I had lots of fun watching anime on the way there, eating lunch and on the way back. He said he enjoyed watching Soul Eater with me :D happy happy! I like to share the things I watch with him so that we have even more things to talk about.
None of us brought camera today but the admiring of views and the conversations are memories precious enough. I think the best part is that the weather is actually very very cooling, without any scorching fun so the whole walk was comfortable.
Apart from Eddie, none of the guys I dated would have been capable of waking up so early to do this with me I guess. That's something I really appreciate about Lenny a lot. He is good with organising trips, he can be spontaneous and impromptu, and he is physically much fitter than me which means I can always count on him to give me a push or literally carry me through obstacles (like hills and puddles of water :P).
After we reached back his house, we took turns to shower then take an hour nap. I have no idea why, I didn't rest properly again. Even though it was really cooling and Lenny even on the aircon halfway through the nap. Not sure if it's the bed, or the height of his pillow or what. T_T I really really messed up. He feels so bad about me not being able to rest well and we both have no idea why. Even though to be fair, he has been sharing for quite a while now that he hasn't been exactly resting very well either.
I did some work before we head out to Suntec. Had a quick dinner at McDonald's (WE REALLY SHOULD STOP EATING FAST FOOD I SWEAR), and then went to the Consumer Electronics Exhibition at the Convention Centre. Bought a new computer screen because the one I was using was flickering non-stop. This new monitor has good clarity and colour ^_^. My next goal is to get an Razer Ornata, a hybrid keybord with palm rest. The best price today was SGD$116.90.
Lenny says next week got IT fair. Maybe I can try and find my hair curler then ): ? I really want a hair curler sobsobsob!
After we left Suntec, we came to my house and he immediately helps me fix the new screen hehe yay! So happy to be using it now.
Sigh, work again tomorrow. Overwhelmed by the things I needa do ): . Manager and boss' organization skills really not helping. But boss has been patient so far so I'll just work hard within my limit and ability to make the best out of it. Wishing myself all the best!
