26th May 2018: Impromptu Trip to Johor with Lenny
The need to pee is the reason why I didn't sleep beyond 1pm today. Woke up and saw Lenny asking me to get ready to leave house by 1.30pm and we were going to JB.
Apparently, by the time he reached my house at about 1.35pm, he had already had our passports with him, and even got lunch for the both of us. Damn efficient I swear. This kind of impromptu dates are part of the reason why our relationship hasn't reach the stale stage (and I hope it never will).
We went to Paradigm Mall. Yuge yuge place. Huge area to walk but because we are so used to the compact space Singapore malls have, Paradigm Mall seemed a bit bare. Nevertheless, we had dinner there. A sumptuous one, that costs much lesser than it would have in Singapore. The sashimi was not as good as in Singapore though ): sobsob! Lenny was wishing there was Genki Sushi there LOL. This is all Kimchu's influence.
After dinner, we went to Watsons and went to The Face Shop. We ended up signing a membership with Watsons and both of us were impressed that the Watsons card could actually be used for Touch&Go (with 5x the points). Can be used to pay for movies and other stuff also. Wow. Watsons is gonna conquer Malaysia hahaha.
At The Face Shop, I got a new cushion foundation for myself. The total cost for a new foundation shell with 2 cushion refills was about SGD$35. Which already by itself cost lesser than one shell and one refill in Singapore. I can totally understand why Singaporeans would cross the sea to do their shopping lol. I mean, it's not very worth if you go specially to get things but if you go there once a month to stock up all the things you need, it's pretty worth it!
Besides, I'm not sure if it's because it's JB, or because they have a newly elected Prime Minister who does good, the service staff were all very helpful, very cheerful. Everyone was in a good mood for some reason. HAHAHA.
We went to Johor Premium Outlets after that and wah. That's another place worth going back for. They have high end brands and the affordable brands for my taste and level LOL.
I bought a new set of outfit for myself (one white top at RM15, one jaggings at RM45) from Cotton On. I swear it's nice. Have been waiting to wear something else besides the usual dress or sorts that I have and yay I got my dream come true!
Lenny bought a new bag for himself. Not sure if he's comfortable to share too much but he love the bag, so I'm glad. I also love the way he look with the bag :D ! Should I ever look back on this post and have no idea what the shit I'm talking about, the brand name starts with F, and the bags are timeless pieces. Alot of them are kept to strictly two colours or less.
We have a tricky time finding our car but we eventually did (obviously lol). And got home at about 12am. Wahhh.
To which his mum and dad also just reached home (after I done bathing) and invited us to go to the Southern Ridges trekking for his condo residents activities. The tickets were paid for but he was reluctant to go because it was late and we had to wake up by 6.30am if we wanna go...
We decided to go anyway!
