06th May 2018: Hunting for Stationery
As expected, I woke up after 10am. Lenny too. Waking up after 10am is a usual for me (when I have no obligations later on in the day), but a rare for Lenny. He's always waking up about 9am or earlier because of his body clock.
We headed out to McDonald's because he wanted the breakfast there but everything we wanted was sold out. Disappointing!! So we went to the hawker nearby and ate carrot cake :) .
The weather was hot and humid so we went back his house to Netflix and chill. There was chill because he turned on the aircon. Thank god for this thoughtful baby, else I'd have melted. We watched Psychokinesis. A Korean movie about a man who suddenly gained that special power. Lenny and I concluded that Koreans are better in producing KPop music, and drama. Not so much of movies.
We went out to Bras Basah and looked around the stationery corner. The cute him wanted to help me to see if I can add more Pilot Fiesta mechanical pencils into my collection but we ended up buying other stuffs instead. I bought a box of Stabilo pens but they turned out to be red instead of blue. Stabilo really needs to reconsider their packaging. One does not simply put the pic of a blue pen for red ink pens lol. But of course, the onus is on me as well to check the shit I'm buying haha.
we also bought a recorder, because he wanted to show me that he could play it. During the shopping spree, I also introduced the French Curve Ruler (OI LENNY, I REMEMBERED THE NAME OF IT LOL) to him. Apparently, he never knew what those things were called or what they were for.
I also bought a transparent pencil case so I can put the stationery I'm bringing to the office. Feeling really happy and organized YAY!
Before we left POPULAR (after checking out our first batch of items), we came across this Science book where Lenny took interest in. I bought it :D ! As a birthday gift for him LOL. Although I did gave him already, his gift on this birthday hehehe. But it doesn't matter. The way he was attracted by the book was so cute.
There was smoke after we stepped out of POPULAR. The smoke was coming from somewhere and it was those that smelled like burnt stuff. We didn't manage to find out where the course were from but we kept seeing fire engines lol. From the magnitude of the smoke, it seemed pretty serious. We're waiting to see if we would see news about it within the next few days.
Settled dinner at McDonald's, before heading to Challenger. Ahhhhhh so many IT gadgets that I wanna own lol. Anyway, I swear HuaWei is catching up with Samsung and Apple. The interface has improved so much, the touch sensitivity is good, and there's a lot of toggling you can do to make it even more user-friendly to yourself. I would consider getting it if I am receptive to using Android. Unfortunately, I am still more inclined to use iOS because it seems to be more reliable. Android phone tends to lag drastically (in my opinion) after 1 year of usage.
Went out of Challenger without buying anything! So proud of myself. Lenny and I went to check out Watsons for Vitamin C serum. I really like the one the facial shop gives but it's gonna finish sooner or later lol. So I'm getting ready to buy a new one hahaha.
We duly went home after that, fully aware that we have work the next day. T_T start of a new week.
Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to using the new Asus laptop Konbini has gotten for me. And also, looking forward to dining with my mum, together with Lenny and his mum. Hehe. Our mums planned to go on a shopping trip together, then meeting us in the evening for a meal and to check out the wedding shop. HAHA. Cute.
P.S. I just suddenly remember that I probably have those rulers around somewhere in my room so I probably can show it to him
