16th May 2018: First Client Meetings Trip, Intrusive Sales Girl for De Arte Hair Studio
It was hectic with Illumina, my first stop of the day. Apparently, there was some sort of miscommunication where they thought we were only gonna deliver food, with no business discussion haha whut.
So I ended up having to cab after reaching Yishun because I only had 1h 05 mins to cover the 1h 30 mins distance after they finally confirmed that meeting is still on zzz.
The meeting that was supposedly held at 12.15pm, was postponed to 12.30pm, to 12.45pm and I was still late lolol. Hopefully they will like the idea and that our food caterer will be of their liking.
The next stop after that was with 1-Group. Joanna was friendly. It was unfortunate that Zaim couldn't make it on time. The meeting was scheduled at 2.30pm but he texted me at 2.25pm and asked me to inform 1-Group we'd reach only at 2.45pm lolol.
I went off to try and find the building. IT WAS ELUSIVE YET SO OBVIOUS OMG.
The view I was while taking the lift up was beautiful hehe!
Anyways... He wanted me to wait for him then go in together but I didn't, thank God lol. The big boss was going on so I spent the little 10 mins I had to briefly explain how our vending ovens can help solve their staff meals issues. They were quite receptive about it.
Joanna showed me their staff area after the big boss went off and we had small discussions before I went off. It was generally positive and I am really grateful because she was nice to talk to. I was so scared they would be unhappy because Zaim was late and I was rather unprepared (never done business talks like that before yo) but everything went well so I'm super glad!
I told him the meeting ended and he said he would wait for me at the security area. When I reached the ground floor, I still didn't see him. Turns out he was at the wrong building. Omg hahaha.
We sat at the open area at Raffles Place (where I almost suffocated by all the cigarette smoke) and did some work before he head off. My work that day ended at 4.30pm lolol.
Lenny and I decided to meet at Paya Lebar because he wanted Soup Spoon while I wanted Daiso. Paya Lebar happens to have both and it was near his workplace.
I was stopped by a girl when texting and walking in Paya Lebar square. She was intrusive and I hate the way she did her sales for De Arte Hair Studio.
Anyway, Lenny and I had our dinner at this Ramen Place opposite Soup Spoon before we went to the new SingPost building. Mostly earthy tone, quite beautiful, but very compact and it can be pretty confusing. But the new SingPost there is amazing haha. I love it.
