15th Jul 2018: Third Time Piercing Ears

Woke up and lazed around before heading down to the living room with Lenny to finish watching our Extraordinary Houses documentary on Netflix. Went out for our $2 caifan lunch after that and went to Orchard area.

First to Apple Store to get his adapter. I swear I am super amazed with technology these days but it can be so overwhelming with that many tools and cables needed. Yes, even though everything can be made so convenience, particular the transferring of files.

Then we headed to Muji to check out the different products they have. Storage organizer for makeup items. (Y) I am quite excited for the future vanity area at his bedroom but I think living together with Lenson is gonna be tough because he is a neat freak and I am kind of the opposite lol. Not that I like to be messy though. I'm just not as neat as he is. When it comes to living area. Sadly.

And yes, the highlight of the day. Ear piercing. Third time piercing ears make me sound like some typical rebellious kid who is getting her ears pierced at some random spot on the ears but that's far from the truth.

To be more exact, this is the third time I pierced my earlobe at the exact same spot because the first two times caused me to have infection and the holes closed up lol. I pray that this will be a smooth one this time. I don't think I'll be able to wear cosmetic jewellery. Only Titanium and gold T__T . #ThanksSensitiveSkin.

As I grow older, the fear of pain and generally anything else just increased. I was having cold sweat on my palm... And was freaking out. But it has to be done sooner or later right, because of the 四点金 for the wedding hahaha.

The left ear was itching so bad after. X_X so hard to get used to it. I got reminded of why I never bothered to pierce. Hair gets stuck at the stud, accidentally tugging can make me feel like I am almost tearing my earlobes apart. But I do like my new look with the earrings hehe!

Things are not getting better at all. I feel that I am losing grip of my life, like a puppet just being string along daily, by everyone and everything. I feel like a good for nothing who can do nothing right. Not even in things that I am interested in. Heck, I don’t even think I am getting the basics right, like breathing and even the use of vocal cords to talk or sing. At this point of time, I’m questioning why am I even on Earth and whether there’s any purpose for me to live on for. 16th Sep 2019: My First Ever Resignation Letter

Not much explanation is needed for the content of this post. After struggling for 9 months, yes, I have submitted the letter. The letter was first drafted last year, after I got to know of the promotion and pay raise that I did not have. Then subsequently revised a few more times to dampen the angst and steer it towards a more professional tone. Despite preparing for this moment for months, it was still a tough decision to make even until the point where I hit "Enter" to send it out. What am I going to do after submitting this letter? Will I be able to deal with the uncertainties. Where am I going to head to after my last day of work? Can I handle what is about to come? Amidst these myriads of thoughts, I still come to the same conclusion that this wasn't a rash decision and it was a careful choice that I have decided on albeit not the smartest one that I could have made. Between money and sanity, I chose the latter. Together with my dignity.
