Waking up at Lenny's house feels different. Lolol.
Spent the day looking for jobs. Sent out a few applications, saved a few jobs. Really hoping for some good returns. It's so stressful being stuck without a proper job. #ThanksSHIFT lol. My career just shifted from neutral to bleak now.
Went for Jay Chou's Jukebox Musical. Loved it :) . It was performed in Chinese but had English subtitles. Sometimes, the subtitles went a bit off-timing but it was overall understandable. I find Jay Chou's songs even more meaningful now. The mash-up and remix were done marvelously. I enjoyed the choreography as well.
07th April 2018, Saturday:
It's a Saturday but Lenny has to go to work early as usual. Only that it's a half day work. I slept for a while more before waking up then heading out to meet XiaoYi and Yardley.
The three of us had a good catch up over lunch at Old Street Bak Kut Teh at Hougang Mall. Yardley went off to find Denice (omg haha I dk how spell her name), while XiaoYi went to check out the hearing clinic with me. Clinic was closed so we made the appointment booking through the phone call instead.
Headed back to Hougang Mall for the facial. Lol. There was obviously some hard-selling but not aggressive one so it's fine. My first facial experience ever. Scary when the lady was using the needle haha. There were moments I thought she was going to jab into my brains when she was poking at my forehead.
My skin does feel cleaner. But to look radiant, there's still some more distance to go. I am more motivated to exercise though and eat cleaner lol. And sleep earlier hahaha. Just so I don't put on more weight, and to purge out oil that are clogging my pores.
It's 3.24pm now and I'm back at Lenny's house. He's napping. We're going out at 4pm to Yishun for Qing Ming.

As usual, Lenny reminded me that is was our monthsary. Haha. We were just watching TV after eating dinner with this family when he suddenly asked if I knew today was our monthsary. #oops

Decided to stay over at Lenny's house tonight. The video call with Paktor is scheduled for 2pm the next day and his room is neater, with a nicer backdrop (aka his window blinds).
13th April 2018, Friday:
Wanted to go get the $2 economic rice after waking up but Lenny's grandma offered to cook so I ended up having lunch at his house. His grandma cooked fish soup for me :D . And noodles (for herself too cuz she accidentally cleared her rice with the portion of rice she spilled).
Didn't had much time to dry hair after bathing so hair was half wet. The video call interview with Kaelyn generally went okay. X_X video call is sometimes not a good idea because the audio can be sooo muffled. But I am not sure if it was due to the earpiece I was using haha.
Went to Raeburn Park after that for another interview. Was late because I got lost in that place. The signage was sooo bad. It directed me to climb a flight of stairs to get to the unit I was looking for (#01-15).
Only managed to get to the venue in the end after a kind-hearted person directed me after seeing I was so lost. The official address for the office was #01-15 but the office signboard printed 16/16/18/19 lol wtf. Anyway, the person interviewing wasn't the most comfortable to talk to. But of course, it was also because I was obviously not qualified enough for the job.
Had another impromptu interview at Vivo City. But the time was unconfirmed so I met up with Lenny at Vivo City. Wanted to have KFC for dinner but it was crowded so we went Pastamania instead.
Met up with the person for interview and it was suprisingly the most comfortable interview of all. I swear, if most interviews were like that, interviews would be fun and more interesting lol. Less daunting too. The job seems promising and one that I feel most inclined to work for but the interviewer asked if I would be okay if the sales job required being out late night to entertain clients lol. It sounds like those Taiwanese drama thing. Will need to clarify this again I guess.
Went back with Lenny to his house after the interview (Lenny went to cut his hair while I went for the interview. Ohya, he accompanied me, after I asked him to, and made sure it's not some dodgy shit before he went off LOL)!
14th April 2018, Saturday:
Woke up and slacked awhile. Just as I was about to go bathe after eating chips, Lenny came back to his room. Apparently, he needed to grab a shirt because the event he is going for wasn't gonna allow people to enter if they wearing tshirt LOL.
He fetched me to Hougang Mall and we had lunch at Old Street before I went for facial treatment and he went off to his event.
I kinda like the facial treatment but I don't like how the staff there tries to hard sell stuff. Lol the woman (who I presume is the owner) was visibly upset when I told her I will consider and buy next time if I really like the foundation, powder and the lip cream she and her staff tried on me LOL.
Headed over to Suntec where salmon sashimi and sushis were waiting for me! Lenny was waiting at Sushi Goshin with his mum for me hahaha. We sat there, chitchat for a while before his mum headed off to meet up with Lenny's dad. Meanwhile, Lenny and I decided we wanted to go check out the arcade there.
It was only a few minutes after exchanging for the tokens did we agree to join Lenny's parents for dinner. I felt bad rejecting X_X . Dinner was at Mount Faber. The food was nice.
After dinner, Lenny and I went back to Suntec and finished the tokens we exchanged for earlier on. Had an awesome time, won more than 10,000 tickets with $40 and we decided we liked it so we were gonna go back.
Lenny fetched me home after that because I haven't been home for a while.
15th April 2018, Sunday:
I woke up at 11am, slept back, and ended up waking up at 1pm plus. Lenny came and fetch me at about 3pm plus. We went to grab some finger food before heading to Suntec. Somehow, we are really into arcade these days so went again back to Cow Play Cow Moo today.
Spent $80 in total. The itinerary went something like that:
16th April 2018, Monday:
Woke up, gamed, sent out a few job application.
Lenny came over after his work ended and we went to the E-Hub for dinner. Wanted to go IKEA but changed our minds.
After dinner, we spent $60 on Cookie Master. Yesss they have Cow Play Cow Moo there lol.
17th April 2018, Tuesday:
Interviewed at Paktor today. The reception and office are both nice. I reached 15 mins earlier than the interview time and took 30 mins plus to fill up two forms lolol. The interview were split into two parts because just as the interviewers were about to go off, I mentioned another job position which I didn't apply for but was interested in as well so the interview stretched longer :) but it was enjoyable.
Passed my time at Chinatown. Ate SongFa BKT there, then went Chinatown library. It's sooo Cheena inside lol. Not much book variety. Mostly on Chinese culture.
Had to take the initiative to contact Konbini's interviewer and he said to meet at Causeway Point at 8pm lol. Headed to Causeway Point because he came to fetch me.
Didn't meet up in the end. The interviewer couldn't make it.
To be honest, I wasn't very happy with the whole interview process. From the first convo until now but I will probably put it in a separate post hahah.
