16th February 2018 to 10th March 2018
After much contemplating, I have decided to come back to Blogger. Dayre is on the verge of closing down and I have still yet to receive the official email to port over the posts. Thankfully, I happen to chance upon a tool for exporting Dayre entries into WordPress.

It's 10th March when I am typing this entry... Following up...
As per past tradition, the first stop for every CNY house visiting is Clementi. Different from the past year is that Lenson wasn't with me this visit. His grandpa passed away in Dec last year and 100 days have yet to pass so he wasn't allowed to go house visiting.
The past 2 CNY visits to Clementi has been relatively pleasant (compared to so many other years). I have no idea why this year, my grandpa decided to be somewhat guailan about the school loan. Firstly wondering why my school fees amount to SGD$43,000, when I have already mentioned this amount so many times. Secondly, talking about the money my father left as though my mum didn't manage it well.
Wahhhhhh rage.
(1) I have already graduated for about 5 months, why is it only now that he care about my school fees.
(2) The amount of money my father left behind wasn't a lot. Raising two kids in Singapore isn't cheap. Lol, all these years, we fall sick, we have bills to pay, and the miscellaneous expenses here and there.
(3) The oldest aunt promised to help out when I enroll in uni. But she has never given a single call.
That night, I almost lashed out at them. It wasn't helping that they had family portraits without my brother and I. Just because my father isn't around doesn't mean we ain't part of the family. But that is how they made my brother and I feel. They wasn't kind to my mum much either. How dare they question the way she managed the money. It's not like they did a lot for my brother and I while we grow up.
Haha, that evening, I was texting my brother and eventually sharing my emotions in the family WhatsApp group. So much rage, seriously.
No one but Aunt Judy showed concern for my wedding preparations too. Lol. Often, I question why we are even still going for house visits. And then I have to keep reminding myself that regardless of what they do, my brother and I must still fulfill our part as their grandkids, and on behalf of our father, the filial piety he didn't get to.
Was also grateful that Lenson dropped by to pick my brother and I up. It was heartwarming and my mood instantly became better when I saw him.
17th February: CNY Day 2
Went to the temple near my house area first before heading to daddy's brother's house. We got the news that 2 of my step-cousins are getting married lol. One on 31st March and the other in June. Haha then mine is September.
After that, we went to Tim Yim Ahyi's house before heading home.
18th February: CNY Day 3
Louhei-ed at Lenny's maternal grandparents' house. Sat around for a while, mainly bonding with Lenny's grandma. She is really sooooo cute. Hehe.
Then went to Ivan's house before heading out for dinner together (Sushi Express at Suntec yay).
19th February: CNY Day 4
House visiting at Hougang Ahyi's house! Ate dinner, chitchat. Hehe. Then we cabbed home.
20th February: Gardens by the Bay
Went to Gardens by the Bay after work, since we have free entrance because we signed up for the membership.

21st February: Checking Out Wedding Venue -- Sofitel
It was a pretty straightforward visit. The manager was nice. Lenny and I were pretty fixed on the ballroom there already anyway. Haha. The manager offered to throw in the wedding show freebies since we were decisive about it.
The holding room is lovely :D . I like.

We also went to Airin's house later (makeup artiste trial for pre-wedding shoot). I adore her! Her room is chio, she is chio. She also advised Lenny to switch to hydrating skincare products instead of those targeting oily skin. Lenny's skin has become less oily now :D . Hmm hopefully I'll like the makeup for the shoot.
On this day, my mum also underwent a ballooning surgery. Wasn't able to visit her at the hospital in the evening X_X .
23rd February: Kimchu's Birthday
Visited my mum before I headed for work.
Lottichu and I planned a surprise for Kimchu! Hehe we managed to convince her that Lottichu has to OT and wasn't able to be there for dinner as what we orginally had in mind. But Lottichu was actually at Swensens' with Kingu waiting for Kimchu and I. LOL. I felt that sense of achievement when Kimchu went "nani" when I pulled her into the restaurant without queueing.
24th February: Tea Dress Hunting
My mum woke me in the morning and asked me to accompany her to Changi General Hospital A&E because her wound was hurting. It hurts me to see her feeling pain.
Went out with Lenny in the afternoon to look for a dress to wear for tea hunting ceremony on 03 March. Found one at $50 :) . I love it.
25th February: Choosing Bangle
Lenny came to fetch me to his 五姨's house. Louhei-ed, chitchat awhile with everyone, sat with Lenny's maternal grandma and she was singing alone to the Hokkien song. Also watched Lenny gamble with his cousins.
Went out to Plaza Sing after that to meet his parents to choose the bangle that they are going to gift to me during the tea ceremony. I love the bangle.
26th February: Family Day
Dinner with family and Lenny at Tampines Hub. Lenny brought the "brochure" for Tasmania. Hehe~!
27th February: Hunt for Wedding Bands at Orchard
Went Orchard Road to hunt for wedding bands.
28th February: Hunt for Wedding Bands at Vivo
We checked out a few jewelry shops and decided on the pair from SK ^_^ ~
01st March: Vertex Dinner
Stayed at home, then went Ubi station where Lenny pick me up.
02nd March: Gown Fitting
Went to The Gown Warehouse after work. Finally get to see my red dress again. Excitedddd for the pre-wedding shoot!
Went to eat McDonald's nearby after that and tried out their new menu. The chocolate pie is so-so only ): .
03rd March: Tea Ceremony
This is the day when I am considered informally married into his family. I offered tea to his ahma, his parents and his aunt and uncle.
Then went to the temple to offer tea to his grandpa.
Went back to his house for lunch then stone for a while and went to Senja to see his grandpa's urn.
Then went Chinese Garden, and visit the Turtle Museum.
04th March: First Meeting With Shimin's Baby
Went to Kimchu's house and waited for Lottichu to come. I dozed off while waiting for Shimin to give the green light for us to go Woodlands.
Went Waterway Point to eat Genki Sushi and then I had to go Lenny's house cuz Ivan and Airin were coming over. Hehe the bonding was well. :D I am super excited about the trip. #PreWeddingShoot
05th March: Family Day
Went out with my mum to Tampines Mall for breakfast, then went home. Waited for Lenny to come and fetch us out for dinner. My mum bought the gold necklace for Lenny that she's gonna gift him during the actual wedding day.
06th March: Normal Day
Work, then go Lenny's house for dinner.
09th March: Sad Day
After work, went Tampines Interchange to dabao for my mum and dad. Then watch drama, and play game.
): one of an online friend (online couple -- the funniest, proest and best ever) said he was definitely going in (to prison) and won't be able to play after Monday. Sigh.
I will miss the days we play together with our FAM mates.
