27th Jun 2018: Actual Birthday! I'm 24!

The day started off pretty normal.

Jessica was going on about how it was going to be my birthday so I was quite on guard when she didn't say anything at all when we saw each other that morning. Neither did anyone else.

We all went out to eat lunch at Tiong Bahru Plaza and then the group split ways LOL. There was a kind of plan going on of some sort but at the same time seem not like it either. Anyway somehow, Raj, Brian and Priyam went back to the office with me first. Jessica, BH and Hazim came back later.

Then it was doing work and suddenly, the office burst into a birthday song. Even Jing and Zaim sang along.

HAHAH. Pleasant surprise.

I swear this batch of interns consist of the sweetest people ever. All of them are so thoughtful, generous, not calculative. Even though I didn't hang out a lot with them at the start when our office was at Ubi cuz I lunched with Lenny, they still brought things back for me, like Jessica with the menstrual pack when she knew I was on period and had bad back aches, or the time when Raj brought back bubble tea as a surprise, and this time, a birthday cake.

Couldn't finish the cake so brought it back to Lenny's house.

There, his grandma cooked a sumptuous meal. A little more dishes than usual. And they also helped celebrated my birthday with Emicakes! Not sure if it's because they know I like Emicakes or coincident. Nevertheless, I feel really happy and thankful.

Just like that, I have 3 birthday cakes this year for my birthday.

I feel thankful for my family and friends every day, but on this day this year, I feel extremely loved, and blessed. Words aren't enough to convey how much gratitude I have to the universe for bringing these people to me.

Heartfelt thanks to those who wished me on the day and those who wished me belatedly too. Everyone who had me in their thoughts played a part in making today special.
