23rd March 2018 to 3rd April 2018

23rd March to 31st March:
Flew to New Zealand with Lenny and Ivan. Airin landed one day later than us, on the 24th. Out of the many days we spent there, 2 were spent on Photoshoot and the rest were spent exploring the majestic nature landscape.

More details will be updated in a dedicated post for the trip.

01st April:
Started my first day back in Singapore at Lenny's house. It was midnight already when we arrived back in Singapore. Since Lenny's parents were fetching, we decided it would be best if all of us just head back his house instead of dropping me at mine first. It's a hassle to unload the luggage, then bring it up with me. Lolol.

After washing up, we fell asleep pretty quickly. It was either due to jet lag, or we were just really exhausted from the flight. Lolol. Guess it's a little mix of both.

I woke up to Lenson sitting at the edge of his bed editing our wedding invitation. As usual, I'm always impressed with his Photoshop skills haha. He showed me a draft and I gave some suggestions. The invitation will be ready to be sent out by next week :D .

We went out for breakfast at McDonald's then back to his house again where he continued editing stuffs and while I try to catch up with my friends since I was overseas without my phone lol. There was only one accommodation with WiFi and I didn't actually use much of it anyway. I still prefer not using phone when overseas at places where the beauty of the land is overwhelming.

We also went to The Gown Warehouse to return our gowns, suits, bouquet and bow-tie. It was an easy process. Hehe, I went to have a quick glance of the gowns they have and also stealing glances at the brides-to-be choosing their gowns. Ahhh, the joy.

Dinner was settled at Vivo. I had prawn noodles. But both Lenny and I felt that it was quite dodgy because the stall didn't put prices up for the food choices haha. I accidentally ordered the signature prawn noodles instead because I didn't know there was the option of normal lol... But it's okay. Haha, the food was good. Nothing spectacular but still good.

We walked around Vivo before heading home. Haha. I concluded that nature trails are still more refreshing and interesting than malls and shops.

02nd April:
I lazed around after waking up. Dumped some laundry into the washing machine but it was too little load to start so I thought I'd just wait first to see what else I needed to wash.

Kimchu texted and asked if I wanna makan together. Her treat. I said okay. And that was when the series of bad luck hit me lolol.

While on my way to Kimchu's house, we were talking about whether to meet at her house or at Waterway Point directly. I was sharing location with her and she was confident that I took the wrote bus... Lol, I took the right one okay.

Just when I was about to tell her my phone is still faulty from the soap water it ingested at Tasmania, and that half the screen is black, the phone blacked out. That was when I realized that my authentic Apple cable has ceased to function once more. But I had no time to rage at the cable. I was more worried about whether I would be able to contact Kimchu.

After alighting the bus, my bag strap broke. #BadLuckChair. Thank god nothing fell out cuz I caught the bag in time. Lol.

I went straight to Kimchu's house and knocked on her door. No one answered. I didn't know if her door bell works, if her mum or her was at home since her main door and metal gates were shut. I tried for a while before heading downstairs, unsure of whether I should try finding her at the carpark or just head to Waterway Point straight.

After some thoughts, I decided to go Rivervale Mall to see if I can find a shop that perhaps sell the Apple cable. Thank god for Miniso lol.

So I bought the cable, and walked back to Kimchu's house while charging my phone and waiting for it to start up. I went up to her house and tried again but to no avail once more. Went down her block again and was ready to walk to the bus stop for the bus to Waterway Point when the phone started up.

3%. At 3.07PM.

Kimchu's last text to me was at 3.01PM asking me where I was. And that she was already waiting in her car near the bus stop. I quickly told her that I was at her house downstairs. Spotted her car nearby and hopped on to it, then started ranting about the series of bad luck lolol.

Lunch at Genki was awesome. I had 4 pieces of salmon sushi, 1 salmon belly sushi, 1 chawanmushi and many cups of green tea. Weeeeeeee~~

We stayed at Genki for quite a while, looking at job openings and laughing at how unhealthy we were in contrast to all the healthy girls with abs out there and decided we're still cool with potato chips and snacks because we're just like that.

Headed to Lenny's house for dinner. Chilled at his balcony until his dad came up, followed by his mum.

We spent time with his parents learning more about their cruise trips and also discussed about the seating arrangement for his relatives too. The seating arrangements are almost done!

Went home, checked out AuditionSEA a little and slept.

03rd April:
Woke up quite early today. Lazed awhile and went to cook instant noodles. My parents were slightly annoyed that I was cooking instant noodles where there were bread lol. I also know there were bread but I just felt like eating instant noodles hahaha. They were quite surprised I woke up early though. I guess that's the good thing about being at Tassie and then NZ. I sleep no later than 2am and wake up pretty early, around 9am to 11am. I used to wake up only at 1pm on days I have no work lol.

Speaking of which, I am above the usual annoyance level with my workplace at the moment. I'm waiting to see how this will be fixed when I go back to work tomorrow. Lol. Shall avoid posting in the mean time.

Also, I have a new feel to start a new blog to record my travel experiences and also of the nice budget clothes I buy online lolol. Just for the fun of it. Lenny seems supportive of the idea and I can't wait to get started!

The new blog (and Instagram account) will probably be about the places I been to overseas, pretty places in Singapore, very affordable and quality clothings online, occasional splurge on the clothes and accessories, reviews of books, movies, dramas. Even memberships of certain places or shops HAHAHAHAH. It will probably be like a recommendation feed. Perhaps people might read it, perhaps they might not. But at least I can easily share with my friends, if they are interested in the things I indulge in hehehe!

Mum and dad went out today so I'm all alone at home now. It's 12.40pm and I am feeling sleepy D: !
